OpenPrinting News Flash - Michael Sweet is Google Open Source Peer Bonus winner for CUPS
Yesterday Google has announced the winners of their
Google Open Source Peer Bonus program
and under them is Michael Sweet for his exceptional work with his CUPS project.
CUPS solved a lot of problems of the former LPD/LPRng printing platforms and quickly turned the standard for easy printing with Linux, MacOS, and many other Posix-style operating systems.
